Join Arroyo Grande In Bloom’s Tidiness Team every Saturday morning from 8 to 10 a.m.
as we work to improve our City. Interested volunteers meet at the “Park and Ride” on
El Camino Real (in front of Francisco’s Country Kitchen) at 8:00 a.m. Tidiness
projects may include: litter pick-up, removal of weeds from sidewalks and medians, and
cleaning of street furniture such as public benches and light posts. All work is outdoors
so dress appropriately and bring sunscreen. There will be a hidden
"treasure" to be found by a lucky volunteer at each clean up event.
Treasures can be anything from cash, restaurant certificates, gift certificates or other
treasures donated by Arroyo Grande's local merchants.

Suggestions for future tidiness projects are welcome. Feel free to contact Jim Bergman
(contact info below) with any ideas or events.
Support
The Tidiness Team is looking for donations and sponsors. Tools and equipment such as
string trimmers, leaf blowers, work gloves, safety vests, “litter grabbers” and trash bags are
urgently needed.
They are also looking for individuals, businesses or organizations to sponsors team
t-shirts (with your logo prominently displayed) or provide gift incentives for volunteers.
