Question?   You say, you have no time...

Well we say...do you have just one hour to spare?

What can you do in one hour you ask????

Answer...  You can take a patch of dirt and turn it into a colorful flower patch!

Yes, just one hour can make a world of difference!

On one Saturday, Mary Giambalvo, Jim Bergman, and Ron Kindig met at Span Go Voice Communications on Grand Avenue. The owner had offered his parkway treewell as an experiment in a makeover.  They removed about 3 inches of soil, replaced it with Black Forest Humus, and worked that into the soil underneath.  They added shredded cedar bark, then planted stocks, breath of heaven, pansies, and other colorful flowers.  Then they cleaned up and watered.  The whole beauty treatment took one hour.  Many thanks to Mary and Ron who donated the flowers and mulch.
